As part of the technical approvals process Hertfordshire County Council Highways has requested topographical surveys to be undertaken. Our contractors will be conducting these essential works in the Park Street Roundabout area.

In order to protect both the workforce and members of the public, an off-peak lane closure has been agreed with Hertfordshire County Council Highways. This will be limited to the immediate working area to minimise disruption during the times of 9.00 and 16.00.These survey works are scheduled to take two weeks, commencing Monday, 29th September 2025.

All works will be preceded by an ecology inspection and require the low-level vegetation and regrowth to be trimmed. National Highways have advised the red marked section of works must be undertaken overnight between the hours of 8.00pm – 6.00am. The clearance element will be early on and the contractor will use efficient machinery to reduce the time required and noise impacts. These survey works are scheduled to take a single night, Friday, 10th October 2025.
