Chiswell Green
Your voice.
The Chiswell Green Residents Association (CGRA), established in 1963, is run by a handful of volunteers, just like you, with busy lives, that give up their time to try and improve, by some small measure, the quality of life for the residents of Chiswell Green. Our aim is to maintain and improve the unique characteristics of our village by representing the interests of all of our residents.
Dear Parents and Carers,
As a school, we have been asked to work alongside the local Parish Council to help redesign North Close Park.
Our School Council have already met with the Parish Council to look at the current play equipment and share ideas about what they would like to see improved. They have also begun creating initial design suggestions for the park.
We would now like to give every child in the school the opportunity to have their say and contribute ideas about how the park could be improved and what equipment they would like to see included.
To support this, we have attached a leaflet containing a QR code to a survey which includes a range of play equipment options. Please ask your child to select their favourite choices.
When completing the form, please ensure you enter the postcode AL2 3HD so that we can identify responses as coming from Killigrew School.
In addition, there will be a consultation workshop on Wednesday 15th from 2:00pm – 5:00pm. Children and adults are welcome to attend this session to find out more about the project, explore the ideas in more detail, and share their views in person.
All responses and feedback will be collected and shared with the Parish Council to help inform the final park design.
Thank you for your support in helping us give children a real voice in their local community.
